Join us on September 2nd to close out our summer series with a special presentation by Jason Heller on "Digital Workflow Basics".
This is not a Photoshop presentation, but rather a short seminar on vital aspects of your digital workflow, which does of course include some aspects of software such as Lightroom and Photoshop.
Learn about: RAW vs. JPEG, whether megapixels really matter, histograms and white balance, color space, cataloging, editing, and the best options for backups.
Rest assured the presentation is in straight forward plain English and easy to follow along. You will walk away understanding more about how to control your image output.
As always, the admission to the event is free, but only by RSVP. Please RSVP to rsvp@NYUPS.org.
When: Sept. 2, 2008 – 7:00 PM
Where: Arctica Bar & Grill
384 Third Avenue (Between 27th & 28th)
The format of the monthly meetings is informal compared to our theater events. These meetings will not have an open bar and the venue has been gracious enough to provide us the space for these meetings. Attendees are encouraged to order food and drinks to help support the venue – so come hungry and thirsty and get ready to share and enjoy some great underwater imagery!
